Road Trip to Rotorua
Last week I was little inactive on all of my social media, but there was a reason! I went on a girls road trip down to Rotorua. I love living in New Zealand and I'm always excited to be a tourist in New Zealand instead of a local because you just get to see so many beautiful things.
We kicked the trip off with an early start on Wednesday morning so we had the whole day to explore. Somehow we managed to pack a lot of walking into the three days, around the lake and through the woods. The highlight for me was definitely going to Hell's Gate to experience the mud spa! I had never done it before, despite being to Rotorua a few times, and it just seems like and iconic thing to do there. If you didn't know, Rotorua is known for it's high geothermal activity which means there are a lot of areas with bubbling or steaming ground and the air smells like egg (because of the sulphur). This means there are quite a few spas and walks around the area which made for some great pictures.
